Personal Information

Biography: Dr. Qazi Azizul Mowla is a Part-Time Lecturer in the Department of Architecture at Sonargaon University (SU), Dhaka, having joined the faculty in July 2025. He holds a Post-Doctoral qualification from Lund University, Sweden (Satisfactory, 2008), a Ph.D. from the University of Liverpool, UK (Satisfactory, 1987), an M.Urban Design from the University of Hong Kong with Distinction (1990), an M.Arch. (Honors) from IIT-Roorkee, India with First Class Honors (1985), and a B.Arch. from BUET with First Class (1981). Dr. Mowla has had a distinguished academic career, serving as Professor at BUET from 2001 to date, as Associate Professor at Khulna University and BUET from 1994 to 2001, and as Assistant Professor at Khulna University from 1991 to 1994.
